Chemical Skin Peel Bolton
Chemical Face Peel Bolton, Greater Manchester

Chemical skin peels involve brushing liquids onto the face, with the aim to eliminate dead skins cells and stimulate the growth of new ones. The result of the treatment will depend on your individual goals, whether reducing the appearance of signs of the ageing process, evening out your skin for a smoother appearance, or treating acne; there will be a peel to cater for your needs.

The skin peel removes surface layers of the skin. It may require some pre-treatment at home, but otherwise the peel will be applied during your visit.

TCA Chemical Peel

A chemical peel enhances and smoothes the texture of the skin. It exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin revealing a new skin layer with improved tone, texture and colour. This peel is a medical grade peel.

This treatment will target sun damage, skin lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and premature ageing. It can be applied to the face, hands or neck.

This is the deepest peel available and will require a longer recovery period but will produce more dramatic results. Expected results are for the skin to appear significantly fresher, younger, brighter and youthful.

A repeat procedure is required within 3-6 months.

Milk peel can be used to freshen up the skin, treat oily skin, pigmentation, treat fine lines and wrinkles, as well as sun damaged and ageing skin.

It also evens skin tone and boosts the actions of daily cosmetics.

What are the benefits of Chemical Skin Peels?

Chemical skin peels, also known as chemical peels or derma peeling, are cosmetic procedures that involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin to exfoliate and remove the outer layers. The specific benefits of chemical skin peels can vary depending on the type of peel used (superficial, medium, or deep) and the individual's skin concerns. Here are some common benefits associated with chemical skin peels:

Exfoliation: Chemical peels promote exfoliation by removing dead skin cells from the outermost layer of the skin. This can lead to a smoother, more even complexion.

Improved Skin Texture: Chemical peels can help improve the texture of the skin by minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and rough patches.

Treatment of Acne: Chemical peels, especially those containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid, can be beneficial for individuals with acne-prone skin. They help unclog pores, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin clarity.

Hyperpigmentation Reduction: Peels can be effective in reducing hyperpigmentation, such as sunspots, age spots, and melasma. They work by targeting and breaking down excess melanin in the skin.

Reduction of Sun Damage: Chemical peels can help minimise the effects of sun damage on the skin, including sunspots, fine lines, and uneven skin tone.

Stimulation of Collagen Production: Some chemical peels stimulate the production of collagen, a protein that contributes to the skin's firmness and elasticity. This can result in a more youthful appearance.

Treatment of Uneven Skin Tone: Peels can address uneven skin tone, including conditions like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and redness.

Pore Size Reduction: Chemical peels can help reduce the appearance of enlarged pores by removing excess oil and debris that contribute to their visibility.

Improved Product Penetration: After a chemical peel, the skin's barrier is temporarily disrupted, allowing for better absorption of skincare products. This can enhance the effectiveness of subsequent treatments.

Boosted Confidence: The overall improvement in skin appearance and texture can boost self-esteem and confidence.
